Must have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible automation in enterprise production environments. 7+ years of experience administering Windows Server 2012, 2019, and 2022 environments. 7+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting for Windows automation. 7+ years of experience with Bash/Shell scripting for Linux automation. 7+ years of experience administering enterprise Linux distributions such as RHEL, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, or equivalent. Strong expertise in developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, collections, and automation frameworks. Experience automating Windows environments using Ansible Windows modules and WinRM. Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, networking, and file/application services. Hands-on experience with SCCM API, PowerShell automation, WSUS integration, ADR (Automatic Deployment Rules), and enterprise patch automation. Experience working within ITIL-based enterprise environments, including change management, release management, and operational governance. Experience using Git for version control and managing automation repositories. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Role and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Ansible automation solutions across Windows and Linux server environments. Build reusable Ansible roles, playbooks, inventories, and automation frameworks while establishing automation standards, governance, and best practices. Lead the organization's transition from manual infrastructure administration to automation-first operations, improving operational efficiency and consistency. Design and implement automated provisioning, configuration management, compliance enforcement, operational workflows, and infrastructure standardization. Develop and automate end-to-end server patch management using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), WSUS, PowerShell modules, ADR, and Ansible. Design phased deployment strategies across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments with approval workflows, validation, rollback procedures, and compliance reporting. Implement event-driven automation by integrating enterprise monitoring platforms with automation frameworks and ITSM solutions such as ServiceNow using REST APIs and webhooks. Develop automated remediation workflows, closed-loop automation, alert correlation, suppression logic, and operational runbooks to reduce manual intervention and improve MTTR. Provide senior-level administration and support for Windows Server and Enterprise Linux environments, including provisioning, patching, upgrades, security hardening, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management. Administer enterprise services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, authentication integration, package management, networking, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability. Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure automation solutions align with enterprise governance, security, compliance, and operational standards. Mentor infrastructure and operations teams on automation best practices while providing technical leadership, documentation, and strategic recommendations for enterprise automation initiatives. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation roadmap planning to drive operational excellence.
