Role Overview

iVedha is seeking a highly experienced Senior Disaster Recovery (DR) / Cloud Resilience Architect to lead the evaluation, assessment, and governance of enterprise resilience capabilities across cloud platforms and third-party SaaS providers. This role requires a seasoned architect with expertise in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, and Enterprise Architecture who can effectively engage with technical teams, business stakeholders, executive leadership, and external vendors. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of enterprise resilience strategies, cloud architecture, and disaster recovery frameworks while demonstrating exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. This position plays a key role in ensuring that third-party technology solutions align with enterprise resiliency, security, and governance standards.

Responsibilities

Review and assess Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) capabilities of third-party SaaS vendors. Evaluate vendor architecture, resiliency, and recovery strategies against enterprise standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze vendor documentation, technical designs, and operational processes related to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity. Compare vendor capabilities against organizational Recovery Time Objective (RTO), Recovery Point Objective (RPO), and resilience requirements. Identify architectural, operational, and security gaps, along with associated risks and mitigation strategies. Develop comprehensive assessment reports and provide actionable recommendations to improve resiliency. Conduct architecture reviews, technical governance sessions, and resilience assessments for enterprise applications and cloud services. Participate in technical discussions, workshops, and architecture reviews with external SaaS providers and technology vendors. Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Networking, Middleware, Infrastructure, and Business teams. Present assessment findings, risk evaluations, and recommendations to executive leadership and business stakeholders. Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical audiences. Drive architecture discussions, governance meetings, and stakeholder workshops to support enterprise resilience initiatives.

Required Experience

10+ years of experience in Enterprise Infrastructure, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture. Strong experience leading Enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity initiatives. Experience designing and assessing enterprise resiliency strategies across hybrid and cloud environments. Hands-on experience evaluating SaaS platforms and third-party technology providers. Experience performing Vendor Risk Assessments and Third-Party Technology Assessments. Strong background in Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, and Technical Governance. Experience working with executive leadership, business stakeholders, security organizations, and cross-functional technical teams. Experience conducting architecture reviews, risk assessments, and resilience evaluations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or other highly regulated industries. Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. Experience with Cloud Security, Zero Trust Architecture, and Identity Governance. Familiarity with enterprise governance frameworks such as TOGAF, NIST, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, or COBIT. Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, or CBCP are highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree is preferred.
