Information Technology Support Technician
About the role
Day-to-Day
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Field Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for a fast-paced corporate environment. This individual will be responsible for supporting employees and executives across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, networking, and endpoint management platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive and customer-focused IT professional who can troubleshoot independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and deliver exceptional end-user support. This role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to support executive leadership while managing day-to-day hardware, software, access, and device management issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of hands-on IT support experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Experience providing onsite technical support and resolving hardware, software, networking, and user access issues.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across both Windows and macOS environments.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office Suite.
- Experience troubleshooting common end-user issues including: ○ VPN connectivity ○ Outlook synchronization ○ Adobe and other third-party applications ○ Printing and peripheral devices ○ WiFi and network connectivity
- Experience supporting iPhones, iPads, and mobile devices.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) including password resets, account unlocks, user provisioning, and access management.
- Experience imaging, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting laptops and workstations.
- Experience onboarding new hires and provisioning equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Experience providing support to senior leadership, executives, or VIP users.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requests, and take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Comfortable working onsite 5 days per week in a highly visible, customer-facing support role.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM).
- Experience with Jamf.
- Experience with Workspace ONE / AirWatch.
- Experience enrolling and managing Mac devices through MDM platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting device compliance and enrollment issues.
