RRSP matching program Employer-paid health, dental, and vision benefits Life insurance, disability, and wellness programs Ongoing training and professional development Career growth opportunities across North America Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers at customer locations Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, electrical, brake, and hydraulic systems Complete accurate digital work orders and service records Communicate repair findings and recommendations professionally with customers and internal teams Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked mobile service vehicle Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Required Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic, Truck & Transport Technician Certification, or equivalent Experience servicing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and technology Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service Preferred Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's Licence Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) Certification Previous dealership or fleet maintenance experience Physical Requirements Ability to perform moderate lifting and carrying Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions Working Conditions Mobile field service environment with work performed at customer locations and service facilities as required Moderate noise levels and exposure to shop and roadside environments Velocity is an equal opportunity employer.
