Cable Care Inc. is hiring dependable, motivated individuals to join our seasonal Fiber Drop Cable Burial crew in London, Ontario. This is an outdoor, hands-on role installing fiber optic drop cables for residential customers. No previous experience is needed — we provide full paid training for the right candidates. Pay and Benefits $20.00/hour to start, increasing to $21.00/hour after 30 days based on performance Free company-arranged accommodation, Monday to Friday, for eligible workers travelling from the Greater Toronto Area — stay in London during the work week and return home on weekends Paid training for all new employees Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate after 44 hours per week, per Ontario Employment Standards Act Potential for returning seasonal employment each year based on performance Responsibilities Bury fiber optic drop cables using shovels and hand tools Perform saw cuts on driveways and walkways when required Restore each work area to a clean and safe condition Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements Work as part of a team to complete daily assignments Requirements No experience necessary — paid training provided Physically fit and able to lift approximately 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work on your feet through full outdoor shifts in various weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Experience in construction, landscaping, underground utilities, or telecommunications is an asset but not required Valid driver's licence is an asset but not required Available Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as required Position Details Location: London, Ontario Job Type: Seasonal (starting May 2026, running through November 2026) Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional overtime Openings: Multiple positions available — hiring immediately Accommodation for Out-of-Town Workers Applicants travelling from the Greater Toronto Area are welcome to apply.
