About the role
Title: Software Product Assurance Consultant
Location: Brampton Duration: 1 year
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software product or quality assurance. Experience with Agile development (continuous integration/build automation). Strong knowledge of C/C++. Previous experience with MIL / NASA/ ESA Software and SW Product Assurance standards. Experience with verification and validation. Experience with product assurance of firmware/VHDL. Experience with software safety analysis and development and/or test of safety critical, real-time software solutions. Experience with automated testing/scripts. Experience providing technical direction and surveillance to ensure that the quality of the software and its development process adhere to program requirements and standards. Experience reviewing system-level designs and perform software architecture, requirements, and coding verification activities. Experience reviewing multiple stages of safety critical, real-time software design, development and test. Experience monitoring programs to ensure adherence to company and program standards. Experience chairing reviews of software Non-conformances and ensuring implementation of effective corrective action. Experience performing software re-use and safety analyses as required. Experience ensuring incorporation of software reliability, fault tolerance & maintainability features.
