Production / Studio Designer

Starts: July/August Duration: 4+ months, approx. 37 hrs/week Hybrid, onsite 4 days/week Location: King & Spadina Rate: $30-35/hr (T4)

Our retail client is looking for a Studio / Production Designer to join their team for 4+ months, full-time hours per week. This will be onsite 4x per week downtown.

Role & Responsibilities

Create and adapt a high volume of in-store signage and marketing assets across a variety of formats and sizes. Execute designs using established templates while maintaining brand consistency and accuracy. Prepare and finalize production-ready files for print and execution, ensuring all specifications are met. Collaborate closely with a team of Designers and Production Artists to deliver projects on time and to a high standard. Work in a fast-paced retail environment, managing multiple assets and deadlines simultaneously. Attend the downtown Toronto office four days per week to collaborate with the broader creative team.

Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in a Production Designer, Studio Designer, or similar role. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Strong experience creating and producing print and digital signage assets. Proven ability to prepare accurate, production-ready files for execution and print. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently within established brand guidelines and templates. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
