The Housekeeping team member play a key role in elevating the guest lodging experience by ensuring each unit and public space is cleaned, well-maintained, and beautifully presented. As the heart of the operation, the housekeeping team works behind the scenes to create a welcoming environment, while also engaging with guests in friendly and professional ways when opportunities arise. This role includes thorough cleaning of guests rooms and common areas, restocking linens and amenities, reporting maintenance issues. With a focus on consistency, service quality and attention to detail, the Room Attendant helps maintain high standards throughout the property, contributing to a position impression and memorable stay for every guest.
What you'll be doing
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to established standards, ensuring a welcoming and well-presented environment.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in cleaning, restocking linens and amenities, organizing room features.
- Report maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
- Assist with inventory control of linens, amenities and cleaning supplies.
- Uphold all health, safety and sanitation standards in accordance with property guidelines.
- Interact with guests in a friendly professional manner, helping to promote a positive image of the property.
- Respond to guest requests or concerns when encountered, ensuring timely communication with guest services or supervisor.
- Support housekeeping team members in maintaining cleanliness standards across the resort.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through reliability, cooperation and a service-oriented approach.
Who you are
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in cleaning, sanitizing and presentation.
- Reliable time-management skills and ability to meet daily room quotas.
- Basic maintenance awareness to identify and report issue promptly.
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
- Eager to find better ways to work efficiently.
- Maintains a positive attitude and contributes to an encouraging work culture.
- Handles room keys, access and personal items responsibly; following all privacy and security protocols.
Physical Requirements
- You have the physical ability to carry or lift up to 50 lbs and can bend, crouch, climb stairs and be in motion for prolonged periods.
