The Entry-Level Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting the reliability, performance, and compliance of plant equipment, with a focus on cryogenic systems. This role will play a key part in implementing and managing the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, maintaining regulatory compliance, and developing maintenance performance metrics. The position requires a proactive, analytical mindset and a strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical systems.
What you will enjoy doing*
Support maintenance of cryogenic equipment (tanks, vaporizers, piping, compressors, instrumentation) Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime Contribute to preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve reliability Develop and manage a national spare parts program, including CAPEX and inventory You support implementation, optimization, and compliance of the EAM system And you will assist with condition monitoring programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis) and data analysis Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and internal policies; support audits and inspections You will track and analyze maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, uptime) to drive performance improvements Support maintenance budgeting, cost control, and supplier negotiations to optimize expenses
What makes you great*
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 0–2 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or industrial engineering (internships/co-ops considered) Exposure to cryogenic systems or industrial gas operations is an asset You have basic understanding of maintenance principles (preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance) Familiarity with EAM/CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills suit your profile Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable insights You have good organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools High attention to safety, quality, and compliance
