The Role A dispatcher helps keep the day moving.

At MOOV, that means staying on top of shipments, communicating with the right people at the right time, keeping details organized, and helping solve problems before they turn into bigger ones.

This role is part coordination, part communication, and part problem solving. You will be in touch with drivers, carriers, customers, and the internal team throughout the day. You help keep everyone aligned, keep information clean, and keep things progressing the way they should.

We are looking for someone who is sharp, organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast moving environment. Someone who notices things early, follows through, communicates clearly, and takes pride in keeping operations tight.

What the Day to Day Looks Like

• Stay on top of active shipments and help keep execution on track throughout the day
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal team members
• Help schedule and coordinate trucks based on timing, availability, and changing conditions
• Follow up on pickups, deliveries, delays, and updates to make sure information stays accurate
• Respond quickly when plans change and help find practical solutions
• Keep emails, notes, and operational details organized and up to date
• Handle data entry and maintain clean records across systems and spreadsheets
• Support the team with administrative and coordination tasks tied to daily operations
• Help maintain a high standard of communication across every shipment
• Use tools and systems effectively to keep work moving and nothing slipping through the cracks

What We’re Looking For

• Dispatching experience is preferred
• We also encourage applicants with strong transferable skills to apply
• Bilingual in English and French is a major asset
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Able to stay calm and think clearly under pressure
• Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once
• Tech savvy and confident working across platforms and systems
• Comfortable with email heavy coordination and daily follow up
• Comfortable using Excel and keeping records clean and updated
• Experience with HubSpot is an asset
• Fast learner with a proactive mindset
• Good judgment, strong people instincts, and a natural sense of ownership
• A shrewd negotiator is a plus

Chez MOOV, ça veut dire suivre les expéditions de près, garder l’information claire, coordonner les bonnes personnes au bon moment et réagir vite quand la situation change.

C’est un rôle qui combine coordination, communication et résolution de problèmes. Au fil de la journée, vous serez en contact avec des chauffeurs, des transporteurs, des clients et l’équipe interne. Votre rôle est d’aider à garder tout le monde aligné, l’information à jour et l’exécution bien suivie.

Nous cherchons quelqu’un de structuré, débrouillard, proactif et à l’aise dans un environnement où ça bouge. Quelqu’un qui remarque les choses tôt, fait ses suivis, communique clairement et prend au sérieux la qualité de son travail.

À quoi ressemblent les journées

• Assurer le suivi des expéditions en cours et veiller à l’avancement des dossiers tout au long de la journée
• Communiquer avec les chauffeurs, les transporteurs, les clients et les membres de l’équipe interne
• Aider à planifier et coordonner les camions selon les délais, la disponibilité et les contraintes du moment
• Faire les suivis sur les cueillettes, les livraisons, les retards et les mises à jour afin que l’information demeure exacte
• Réagir rapidement lorsque les plans changent et contribuer à trouver des solutions concrètes
• Garder les courriels, les notes et les détails opérationnels bien organisés et à jour
• Faire la saisie de données et maintenir des dossiers propres dans les systèmes et les fichiers de suivi
• Soutenir l’équipe dans différentes tâches administratives et de coordination liées aux opérations
• Contribuer à maintenir un haut niveau de communication sur chaque dossier
• Utiliser les outils et les systèmes efficacement pour que rien ne soit laissé au hasard

Ce qu’on recherche

• Une expérience en répartition est un atout important
• Nous encourageons aussi les personnes ayant de solides compétences transférables à postuler
• Le bilinguisme français anglais est un atout majeur
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication
• Sens de l’organisation et souci du détail
• Capacité à rester calme et à bien réfléchir sous pression
• Capacité à gérer plusieurs éléments en même temps
• Aisance avec les outils numériques, les plateformes et les systèmes de travail
• Confort dans un environnement axé sur les courriels, les suivis et la coordination quotidienne
• Bonne maîtrise d’Excel et rigueur dans le suivi de l’information
• Une expérience avec HubSpot est un plus
• Rapidité d’apprentissage et attitude proactive
• Bon jugement, bon sens relationnel et fort sens des responsabilités
• Un bon sens de la négociation est un atout
