Sales Representative / Sales Manager – Western Canada

Location: This role is only open to candidates currently based in Canada. Preference will be given to candidates located in Saskatchewan or Manitoba.

About the Company: AMVT LLC is a leading provider of advanced optical sorting and food inspection machinery serving customers across North America, with operations and customer support across Canada. We specialize in the sales, marketing, and customer support of high-performance equipment used in the processing of rice, grains, beans, nuts, coffee, cherries/berries, vegetables, and recycling industry. Our diverse product line includes full-color RGB sorters, infrared (IR) sorters, belt sorters, x-ray sorters, metal detectors, checkweighers, and packaging machines.

About the Role: To support our continued growth and customer base in Canada, we are looking for a motivated sales professional to support business development and customer relationships across Western Canada. This role focuses on developing new customer opportunities, supporting existing accounts, and working closely with customers in the agricultural and food processing industries.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain customer relationships across Western Canada Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth within the region Conduct customer visits, equipment presentations, and follow-up activities Coordinate with internal technical and service teams to support customer needs Represent the company at industry events and trade shows Maintain accurate records of customer activities and sales opportunities Support customers throughout the sales process, including equipment inquiries and after-sales follow-up

Qualifications

Background in agriculture, food processing, automation, or related industries is considered a strong asset Experience managing customer relationships within a territory-based sales environment is an asset Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Willingness to travel regularly within Western Canada Technical or equipment knowledge is considered an asset

Pay range and compensation package: Competitive base salary plus commission and performance-based incentives. Compensation structure will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, industry background, and overall fit for the role.
