Our employer partner is a Social Service Organization and currently looking to add an experienced Administrative & Finance Associate to their team! Job Overview: The Administrative & Finance Associate supports day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational activities. The role includes order processing, scheduling, data tracking, shipment coordination, accounts payable and receivable, payment processing, recordkeeping, and supporting process improvements to ensure efficient and accurate operations. Key Responsibilities: * Support day-to-day administrative and operational activities, including order processing, scheduling, data tracking, filing, and progress monitoring * Coordinate with operations teams regarding incoming and outgoing shipments, responding promptly to changes, requests, and inquiries * Assist with financial administration, including processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices * Enter sales, expenses, and other financial information into accounting software while maintaining accurate records * Process payments, credit memos, customer refunds, and monthly customer statements * Scan, organize, and digitize financial and administrative records * Monitor workflows and ensure information is accurate, complete, and up to date * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, service quality, and organizational impact * Support the growth and development of social enterprise and community-focused initiatives * Consistently meet deadlines, work-plan expectations, and operational priorities * Collaborate effectively with internal teams and contribute to a positive and productive workplace environment * Assist with special projects and other administrative or operational tasks as required * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * 1–2 year diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience * 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration * Previous experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) * Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software * Strong organizational and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Experience working in a non-profit or social service environment is considered an asset * Experience within the food sector or food-related operations is considered an asset * High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems * Strong ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records * Legally eligible to work in Canada * Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check as part of the recruitment process We thank all applicants interested in this opportunity; however, please note that only selected candidates will be contacted regarding next steps.
