THE OPPORTUNITY We are currently recruiting for two permanent part-time Occupational Health Nurses to join our team. Position: Occupational Health Nurse Designation: RN or RPN Language: English Compensation: $40.00–$45.00 per hour Hours: 16–24 hours per week, depending on location coverage Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts of eight hours Work Location: Primarily on-site, with remote support to other GTA locations POSITION OVERVIEW As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide health services to employees, including health education, health promotion, treatment of illness and injury, and follow-up of ill and injured workers. A primary focus of this role will be non-occupational accommodation file management, while supporting the delivery of Occupational Health Services across assigned locations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage non-occupational accommodation requests across five (5) locations. * Prioritize new accommodation requests and review existing cases. * Collaborate with HR, managers, supervisors, and union representatives on accommodation and return-to-work processes. * Maintain confidential medical records in accordance with applicable policies, legislation, and privacy requirements. * Support Health Centre policies, programs, and procedures. * Collaborate with HR, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and other workplace parties on complex cases and fitness-for-work assessments. * Provide treatment and follow-up for illness and injury. * Support the day-to-day operations of assigned Health Centres. * Perform other duties as assigned. LOCATION COVERAGE This is an on-site position. We anticipate one part-time nurse primarily supporting the east locations and one supporting the west locations, with one role also covering the Gladstone office. * Hamilton / Stoney Creek: Tuesdays and Thursdays * Scarborough / East York: Mondays and Fridays * Downtown Toronto, Gladstone Avenue: Wednesdays The successful candidates will work as part of a team to provide on-site coverage at designated locations, with remote support to other GTA sites as required.
