We are looking for a Class 5 Manitoba licensed Power Engineer to join the Maintenance department on a rotating shift at our Steinbach, MB manufacturing facility. What you will do: * Maintain operation of the building systems including; security and fire protection systems, gas and wood burning boilers, heat exchangers, humidification systems, water treatment systems (including R.O.D.I. and water softeners), H.V.A.C. (heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems) * Maintain all chemical and boiler records * Maintain a strong understanding and working knowledge of all controls and building system equipment * Perform preventative maintenance duties * Other duties as assigned by managers and maintenance leaders What you bring: * Valid Manitoba Class 5 Power Engineer certification * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English * Proven ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment * Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service * Solid organizational and time management skills * Valid driver’s license * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team * Basic computer proficiency * First Aid Level 2 certification Why work at Loewen? Candidates must hold a valid Manitoba Class 4 or Class 5 Power Engineer certification and possess First Aid Level 2 certification. Strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are required.
