Essentially, we help students fill in the gaps that cause current grade level issues utilising our own Customised Learning Plans based on individual skill level and following a "Rotating Team Teaching" approach. As a Lead Instructor: - You will learn the ins and outs of the Mathnasium Method, master our Curriculum Instructional Approaches, lead, coach, and work collaboratively with the other team members delivering instruction in a group setting. - You will monitor students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions & communicate progress with the Centre Director - help maintain the centre outside of instructional hours - assist with Centre Director responsibilities What we are looking for in a Lead Instructor: - Passion and mastery in the language math while working with and motivating students - Excellent interpersonal skills / Team member - Eagerness to learn and an openness to adapt and improve - Competency through Gr. 11 Functions - Be able to monitor many aspects of the "Learning Floor" at the same time ensuring smooth daily operations Shift Hours: Monday-Thursdays: 2:30-7:30 + Saturdays: 9:30-1:30pm (with more hours as responsibilities grow) 24 hours/week (48 hours/2 week pay period+) Starting Pay: $18.50/hour with increased pay over time and as responsibilities increase Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Centre Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee Centre is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their Centre. If you are hired to work at a Centre, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Requirements

Candidates must possess exceptional math competency through Grade 11 Functions and a passion for motivating students. Ability to balance leadership duties with instructional responsibilities is required, and applicants must pass a math literacy test.
