Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Port City Pharmacy in Saint John, New Brunswick. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities: Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner Assist with entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred Previous experience within a pharmacy is an asset (on-the-job training will be provided) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kroll pharmacy software Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Compensation & Benefits: Competitive wages Paid vacation Comprehensive health and dental benefits Opportunity for career growth and professional development support Who We Are: Neighbourly Pharmacy is Canada’s largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
