Why You’ll Love Working Here Collaboration – complementary Group of Companies servicing the mining and construction industries Innovation– if it doesn’t exist, we will engineer and manufacture it Excellence – be a part of an industry leader in quality, safety, & integrity Culture – a diverse team that values collaboration, innovation, and community What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the Project Coordinator / Manager with daily reports, material requisition, progress tracking, and time entry Support the development of preliminary project plans and quoting Assist with the preparation of weekly productivity reports Attend project update meetings and track minutes for distribution Complete pre-job checklists and support the Project Coordinator / Manager with project pre-mobilization activities Provide other technical office support as required Collaborate with various project groups to identify and deliver specific project requirements Responsible for data administration and record maintenance to assist in project tracking & health Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring To The Table Ability to commence full-time (40 hours/week) work from the beginning of May until the end of August 2027 Ability to understand and follow directions Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal Ability to handle competing priorities simultaneously Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work well alone or in a team setting Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) required Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times How To Apply Students/applicants must provide a resume and should clearly indicate the following information in their application submission: Area of post-secondary study Any previous related work and/or volunteer experience Any valid training certification or tickets References: include at least two references with their name, email address, phone number and relationship to you Students interested in working for Northern Strands Group of Companies for the 2027 summer season must submit a resume and complete the online application process to be considered. Requirements

Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, from early May through the end of August 2027, and be able to follow directions, organize work, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities and deadlines. Microsoft 365 experience is required; applicants should submit a resume identifying their post-secondary study area, relevant experience, valid certifications or tickets, and at least two references.
