OnPoint values professionalism, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction in every service delivered. Role Description This is a contract, on-site Commercial Cleaning role located in Ajax, ON. The Commercial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in commercial spaces, including offices, common areas, and restrooms. Daily tasks may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash and recycling, and cleaning windows and glass surfaces. The role can also involve spot-cleaning carpets, restocking supplies, and following safety and cleaning protocols. The cleaner is expected to work efficiently, follow schedules, and communicate any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors. Qualifications Ability to perform Commercial Cleaning tasks, including routine cleaning and sanitation in office and building environments. Experience with Window Cleaning, including interior and exterior glass and mirrors where applicable. Skills in Home Cleaning or House Cleaning that demonstrate strong general cleaning practices and attention to detail. Basic knowledge of Carpet care, such as vacuuming, spot-cleaning, and handling cleaning products safely. Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods while following safety guidelines. Reliability, punctuality, and strong time-management skills to complete assigned tasks on schedule. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain professional conduct on-site. Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience is an asset; familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is beneficial.
