Job Summary This position is within the General Contracting/Construction Management division of FCC Construction. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager organizes day-to-day project activities, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, and monitors progress to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Support pre-construction activities, including planning, tendering, and scope development * Issue and administer subcontracts and purchase orders * Coordinate daily construction activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and cost tracking * Monitor project financial performance through cost control, reporting, and change management * Work closely with project superintendents to coordinate labour and subcontractors to meet project milestones * Identify issues and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner * Maintain professional communication with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders * Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timelines are met * Lead regular project meetings with clients and internal/external project teams * Use project management tools and technology to support efficient project execution * Assist the estimating team with budgeting and proposal support for projects across Atlantic Canada, including occasional travel * Complete other duties as required Technical Requirements * Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma from an accredited institution * Industrial project experience is considered an asset * Experience with Microsoft Project, cost control systems, and project management software * Familiarity with BIM and 3D modeling tools is considered an asset Business Requirements * Strong time management and organizational skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and client-focused environment Cultural Requirements * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across various disciplines * Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, FCC offers a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
