The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.85 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant at Lloyd Garrison School. This position will commence on November 2, 2026 and continue until June 29, 2027. This position includes High German and English programming, the successful candidate will require knowledge of High German and Low German. Lloyd Garrison School is located in the town of Berwyn, approximately 11kms from the town of Grimshaw and 40 kms from Peace River. The school serves students from K to 12. Qualifications Experience and/or training working with student in school setting. Ability to work with children with varied ages, skills level, needs and abilities. Experience teaching High German Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent considered an asset Skills Willingness to be part of a learning team, take direction and follow programs without direct supervision. Willingness to attend training and professional development opportunities on individual learning and complex learning needs. Ability to be flexible to the changing classroom environment and individual child needs Ability to manage and organize programming and keep records. Good communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers. Candidates must have experience working with students in a school setting and knowledge of High and Low German. A current Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
