Job Title: Air Systems / Pneumatics Engineer Location: Montreal, QC, Canada (Onsite Preferred | Remote Applicable) Employment Type: Contract (C2C) Pay Rate: CAD 80/hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Air Systems / Pneumatics Engineer to support the development, integration, qualification, and certification of aircraft air systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Pneumatic Systems, Bleed Air Systems, System Integration, Flight Testing, and Aircraft Certification. Key Responsibilities Prepare and define system specifications and requirements. Perform requirements validation and management. Manage system integration and interface coordination with internal teams and suppliers. Review and approve vendor drawings, qualification reports, acceptance test procedures, and certification documents. Support system development, qualification, and certification activities. Participate in system testing and flight test programs. Prepare technical reports demonstrating compliance with applicable certification requirements. Systems Experience Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following: Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Cabin Pressure Control System (CPCS) Bleed Air System Ice Protection and Ice Detection Systems Fire Detection and Extinguishing System (FIDEEX) Oxygen System Window Heating Systems High-Pressure and Low-Pressure Ducting Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline. Strong knowledge of Aircraft Air Systems and Pneumatic Systems. Experience with Aircraft System Integration and Interface Management. Experience supporting Flight Testing and Aircraft Certification activities. Knowledge of TCCA, FAA, and EASA certification regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
