Job Title: Solutions Architect Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Workplace: Onsite – 4 days per week Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions supporting operational workflows and document management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, API design, messaging technologies, and event-driven architecture. The successful candidate will collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Experience with emerging agentic AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), and enterprise AI governance is an added advantage. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical leadership, architectural design capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and technology stakeholders. Key Requirements 6+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical architecture, or strong technical leadership with a transition toward architecture. Strong experience designing distributed systems, scalable applications, and APIs. Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with messaging systems and event-driven architecture. Strong understanding of microservices, system integration, reliability, security, and performance. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture and solution designs. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical presentation skills. Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and adapt to evolving business and technology strategies. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to agentic AI architectures, LLM deployment patterns, or enterprise AI governance. Experience with workflow automation and document management platforms. Experience in financial services, banking, or other regulated enterprise environments. Experience presenting architecture proposals to governance forums and senior stakeholders. Roles and Responsibilities Develop a strong understanding of operational workflows, document management technologies, and emerging agentic AI solutions. Design scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performance technology solutions aligned with business objectives. Develop and maintain architectural designs for distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven applications. Collaborate with product owners, business partners, and delivery leads to understand requirements and evolve technical roadmaps. Evaluate technology options and recommend solutions that meet business, security, performance, and reliability standards. Ensure secure technology adoption by following established security practices and assessing emerging threats. Present architecture proposals and solution designs to business stakeholders and governance forums for review and approval. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycle, from design through implementation and delivery. Assess emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, workflow automation, and document management. Support the development of robust, maintainable, and scalable enterprise solutions in a complex business environment.
