Job summary
The successful candidate demonstrates technical proficiency and will be responsible for ensuring the project meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and sustainability, while aligning with firm goals and client expectations. This individual will lead the technical design, documentation, consultant coordination, and contract administration for the project. Key Responsibilities * Integrate technical solutions with design vision and project goals. * Direct the development of contract documents ensuring completeness and coordination. * Mentor project team in development of contract documents, construction drawings, constructability considerations and detailing. * Lead technical design resolution including envelope and systems integration. * Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants, ensuring integration of consultant systems into documentation. * Ensure adherence to firm standards and best practices, meeting standards for accuracy, clarity, coordination and constructability. * Lead QA and QC processes. * Perform and oversee duties related to contract administration, including submittals, RFIs, change management, and closeout. Lead architectural field observations and reporting. * Ensure construction aligns with contract documents and design intent. Required Skills & Expertise * Advanced knowledge of the National Building Code - Alberta Edition. * Expertise in construction techniques, detailing, and systems. * Strong experience in contract documentation and administration. * Professional field observation experience. Software & Tools * Revit (advanced) * Microsoft Office 365 * Rhino / Grasshopper (preferred) * Bluebeam Revu Qualifications * 10–15+ years of experience, with demonstrated construction site experience in Alberta * Professional degree in Architecture or Diploma in Architectural Technology / Building Technology Certifications * LEED GA within 6 months * LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification

Requirements
Requires 10-15+ years of experience with a professional degree in Architecture or a related technology diploma. Must have advanced knowledge of the Alberta National Building Code and proficiency in Revit.
