Handle and transfer chemicals and reagents safely and responsibly, using appropriate PPE and containment methods. Load and unload materials including bulk chemicals, packaging, and waste product using forklifts, pallet jacks, or scissor lifts. Support receiving activities: offload deliveries, verify packing lists, store materials safely, and report discrepancies. Assist with packaging and shipping of final product and tailings waste for off-site disposal. Monitor process indicators (e.g., pressure, flow, temperature, pH) and promptly report unusual readings or deviations to the Production Supervisor. Perform basic inspections and routine maintenance tasks such as line checks, equipment cleaning, and filter changes. Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring proper storage and segregation of chemicals and materials. Follow all site safety protocols, including use of lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, spill containment, and emergency response procedures. Communicate regularly with the Production Supervisor regarding task progress, issues, or required support. Participate in daily shift handovers and support operational continuity during the scheduled overlap between morning and afternoon shifts. Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and required training sessions.
