Pharmasave McCowan Drug Mart in Markham, ON, is looking for a reliable and patient-focused community pharmacist to join our team on a contract basis from January through August 2027, providing parental leave coverage on a part-time basis. Our established community pharmacy values providing personalized care for our patients, as well as a positive work environment for our team. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently while also being a collaborative and supportive member of our pharmacy team. Provide safe and effective prescription dispensing and medication management Counsel patients on medications, health conditions, and treatment plans Conduct medication reviews and provide appropriate clinical recommendations Assess prescriptions and identify potential drug therapy issues Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed Provide vaccinations and other expanded scope pharmacy services, as authorized Support day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure excellent patient service Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements Work collaboratively with pharmacy assistants and other team members Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently and making sound clinical decisions Professional, dependable, and patient-focused Experience with Fillware is an asset Chinese language proficiency (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is considered an asset to support communication with our diverse patient population. $52-60/hr Part-time, fixed term contract 25-30 hours/week, including occasional weekends Flexible schedule On-site parking Store discount With over 900+ stores across the country, Pharmasave is one of Canada’s leading independent pharmacy and drugstore retailers. Requirements

Applicants must be licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, with strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They should be dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working independently; Fillware experience and Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency are assets.
