Plant Operator Polycor - Ebel Quarries| Wiarton, Ontario On-site | Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm Pay: $21.50-$22.50 CAD per hour, based on experience Ebel Quarries, a Polycor company, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Plant Operator to join our team in Wiarton, Ontario. This hands-on position supports daily quarry operations and is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a team. This posting is for two existing vacancies. Responsibilities * Assist with general quarry production and daily operating activities. * Operate or assist with quarry tools and equipment as trained and authorized. * Handle, move and organize stone, materials, tools and supplies. * Inspect work areas and equipment and report potential safety or maintenance concerns. * Perform general cleanup and help maintain a safe, organized work environment. * Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. * Assist other team members and departments as operational needs require. Qualifications * Previous quarry, construction, mining, manufacturing or heavy-equipment experience is an asset, but training may be provided. * Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment. * Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to approximately 23 kg/50 lbs. * Comfortable working around dust, noise, machinery and changing weather conditions. * Dependable, safety-minded and able to work effectively as part of a team. * Reliable transportation to the work location. * Legally authorized to work in Canada.
