Job Summary Strategic Programs Coordinator PowerON Energy Solutions Full-time Hybrid | Toronto, ON, Canada This posting is for a newly created position Union representation: Society Pay scale: ($1,361.61/wk - $2,937.08/wk) This is a SOC-1 position. The Strategic Programs Coordinator will support the commercial and operational delivery of PowerON’s Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR) and other strategic programs across a portfolio of customers. This role will be responsible for supporting strategic programs from customer participation and credit generation through verification and monetization. The role will also contribute to the development of PowerON’s broader environmental programs as the portfolio expands. Responsibilities Support the annual CFR program cycle, including customer participation, credit generation, verification and monetization. Monitor program performance against plan: credit volumes, revenue and key risks. Help develop relationships with PowerON customers participating in environmental programs. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to keep program requirements and deadlines on track. Support execution of CFR credit sales strategy in partnership with PowerON's credit monetization vendor. Build and maintain relationships with CFR credit buyers, brokers and other market participants. Support negotiation of credit sale terms: pricing, volume, timing and settlement conditions. Monitor CFR market pricing and regulatory developments, and flag anything that could affect credit value. Coordinate day-to-day activities with the third-party verification provider. Support regulatory reporting and compliance activities tied to the program. Maintain program, customer and transaction documentation. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in program coordination, sustainability, energy, environmental programs, or a related field. Experience with the Clean Fuel Regulations, carbon markets, EV charging, energy, or environmental programs is an asset. Experience in the EV charging, transportation electrification, energy, utilities, sustainability, or clean technology sectors. Experience with customer-facing programs or services. Experience working with multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Experience with Clean Fuel Regulations, carbon markets, EV charging, utilities, transportation electrification, or clean technology is an asset; strong communication, relationship management, attention to detail, and deadline management are required.
