As a Personal Support worker, you will not only be looking after the clients, you will be a part of an amazing team, that promotes a culture of recognition, appreciation, respect, leadership, learning, and ongoing support. We are looking for a Personal Support Worker to provide care for our client in their home that is bed ridden and uses a hoyer lift. Must be comfortable using hoyer life on own. Shifts: 4 hours in the morning and then 4 hours in the evening. We are looking for 2-3 people to divide the 14 shifts amongst themselves. Responsibilities ADLs Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Shopping and errands Medication Reminders Using Hoyer lift to transfer client Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow a care plan Documentation/Charting Qualifications Personal Support Worker Certificate Hoper lift experience a must Current CPR/First Aid training Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one.
