Responsibilities Ensures compliance with the client's systems engineering and project management plans. Manages a project's scope, schedule, and budget in accordance with company policy. Provides leadership and direction in complex railway upgrade projects and resolves issues involving the design of multiple stakeholders. Ensures the technical deliverables are distributed to the correct resources by facilitating design review processes. Provides a holistic picture of the status of all systems that comprise the project and ensures their developments are coordinated. Leads and chairs meetings and workshops with project stakeholders, clients, and third-party companies. Manages a risk register and ensures critical issues are escalated throughout the business. Maintains strong communication with stakeholders, clients, and the project team. Researches and develops business cases on areas that need improvement within a client organization. Fosters strong communication channels with stakeholders, clients, and project team members to ensure alignment and address concerns proactively. Qualifications University degree in Engineering. Experience in managing projects in complex multi-threaded environments. Minimum of seven years of experience in railway projects. Strong understanding of international railway standards. A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is required. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Business development skills, including writing technical content, RFP responses, and proposals, are considered an asset. The annual compensation for this role ranges from $105,000 to $140,000, with the final salary determined by the candidate’s relevant education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
