Role: Data Center NetBox Administrator / Specialist Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract Note Senior or Lead database admin needed with some NetBox experience. Occasional client s office work in Toronto, to sync data in the database and to do the audit of hardware in datacenter. Description Join a fast-growing AI infrastructure team as a Data Center NetBox Specialist, where your attention to detail will directly improve the accuracy and reliability of critical data center records. This hands-on contract role is key to building a trusted source of truth for infrastructure data across a rapidly scaling environment. Responsibilities Enter, update, and maintain infrastructure data in NetBox, covering devices, racks, sites, locations, cables, interfaces, and IP-related objects Review existing records for completeness, consistency, and accuracy, resolving data quality issues as they arise Organize, normalize, and validate naming, location, asset, and relationship data to strengthen reporting and operational reliability Support cleanup of manually tracked or incomplete inventory and help migrate that information into NetBox Partner with infrastructure, deployment, and operations teams to gather missing asset details and resolve discrepancies Perform bulk updates using spreadsheets or CSV-based workflows while flagging recurring data issues and recommending process improvements Requirements Experience with data entry, inventory tracking, asset management, or operations support in a technical environment Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to keep records accurate, organized, and well-structured Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CSV files, and structured data sets Able to follow naming standards, data rules, and repeatable processes with consistency Skilled at identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, and incomplete records, and resolving them with care and precision
