Southwestern Public Health delivers mandated programs under the Ontario Public Health Standards and is legislated by the Ontario Health Protection and Promotion Act. The health unit maintains primary locations in Woodstock and St. Thomas.

The Administrative Assistant provides accurate and confidential operational support to the Human Resources team, including coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding activities. They are also responsible for maintaining HR records, preparing reports, and supporting various HR programs and projects.

They will also provide guidance to staff on records management policies and support the retrieval and destruction of records as required.

The Health Promoter applies expertise in determinants of health and community development to support programming under the Ontario Public Health Standards. They identify program priorities through data analysis and facilitate community mobilization to build capacity around shared health priorities.

The Manager of Records & Privacy Compliance will coordinate and manage the development and maintenance of records, information management, and privacy systems. They will also provide leadership in privacy policy development, staff training, and ensure organizational adherence to legislative requirements.

The physician will assess, diagnose, and treat sexually transmitted infections while providing birth control and reproductive health services. They will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered, trauma-informed, and confidential clinical care.
