The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for the forecasting of product demand, leveraging input from internal Retail, Marketing and Analytics teams. This role assumes the responsibility for one of the customer teams as part of the SOP Forecasting Process. This role is a 12 month fixed-term position. How will you create impact? Initiate and develop strong relationships with cross functional partners to build intimate knowledge of the business and be seen as a trusted advisor to the Retail teams they support. Act as a change agent/leader; leveraging relationships, functional skills and understanding process to support SOP to facilitate change and drive sustainable process and business improvements Lead / Facilitate Demand Debrief reviews with cross-functional teams to deliver an unbiased and unconstrained view of the demand to feed operational planning and the Global SOP Process Responsible to ensure full meeting preparation; presentation of consolidated and accurate information along with well-articulated messaging to support and drive right discussion, decisions and actions; bring forward key decisions / actions to Demand Consensus Reviews Identify frame risks, opportunities and any critical business decisions and escalate up through the SOP process to ensure decision making Participate and actively contribute to all facets of the SOP / Supply Chain processes meetings. This includes Weekly Forecast Reviews, Integrated Demand Reviews and Monthly Integration Analysis of weekly retail sales results [POS] and inventory levels with recommendations on optimizing sales and inventory and impact to customer forecasts. Leveraging retailer POS inventory in taking pro-active measures to minimize internal supply chain liabilities Track and analyze account plans as it relates to the forecast Maintain and leverage Ladder plans to ensure forecasts are in line with POS at Retail Evaluate and measure forecast accuracy and bias results against objectives/plan; leverage results with the organization to drive corrective action Lead / facilitate forecasting process changes continuous What are your skills and experience? Undergraduate Degree - Business, Supply Chain, Finance (BA, BSc, BComm or related disciplines) Consumer products forecasting and/or supply chain operations experience. Experience in and/or exposure to SOP processes and procedures, customer planning and/or supply planning Proficient in MS Office tools - Advanced Excel Skills; forecasting or supply planning applications; SAP/APO/IBP/BI, MS Project, Business Objects 5+ years related experience in Demand Planning/ Planning/ Sales / Finance Creative problem solving to business issues and is motivated by seeking process improvement #LI-Hybrid #LI-HM1 The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $81,500 to $108,600 Per Annum.
