Springboard supports the people we serve with their goals to develop skills and knowledge and connect them with needed community resources and supports. This helps them feel more empowered to reach their personal goals. We serve a diverse group of individuals, ranging from participants with developmental disabilities, individuals referred by the courts for diversion services to NEET youth and adults (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).

The Career Specialist will conduct comprehensive client assessments, create individualized employment action plans, and provide ongoing job readiness and retention support. They will also facilitate workshops, maintain accurate case documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure client success and meet program KPIs.

Collaborate with youth with developmental disabilities to develop and implement goal plans that foster independence and community integration. Provide direct personal care, crisis response, and life skills facilitation using a trauma-informed approach.

Provide support, counselling, and life skills facilitation to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Manage challenging behaviors, ensure safety, and perform administrative and facility upkeep duties.
