ABOUT US: IntermodeX is Western Canada's largest integrated logistics company, linking cargo moved by rail, barge, and truck to global markets. We are now hiring multiple Warehouse Workers at our two Prince Rupert facilities. All new employees will be casual until they complete their probation. IntermodeX is a unionized environment. Rate of Pay & Benefits * New Hire Rate (0 to 12 months): $23.88 * New Hire Rate (12 to 18 months): $24.88 * New Hire Rate (18 to 24 months): $25.38 * Full Rate (after 24 months): $25.88 * Health Benefits: Teamsters Benefits enrolment upon date of regular status. * Pension: Teamsters National Pension Plan enrolment upon date of regular status. Schedule * Daily scheduling. Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts. * Day shift start times vary from 7 AM to 12 PM. * OT shifts when required, including weekends. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Load and unload containers. SKILLS & WORKING CONDITIONS: * Shift work is scheduled daily and is based on seniority. * Container handling experience is considered an asset but is not required. * Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. regularly. * Industrial location – warehouse and lumber yard. * Indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to heat, cold, rain, and noise. * Frequent exposure to heavy equipment that is operating on site.
