Your Opportunity Stantec Geomatics Ltd. is seeking an Ontario Land Surveyor to support the Waterloo or London offices. This position involves the supervision of a dedicated team of survey technologists and technicians and liaising with clients and team leads from other disciplines. This position will appeal to those individuals who enjoy a dynamic work environment where they can manage multifaceted projects. Your Key Responsibilities * Preparing proposals * Project research * Project computations * Field and office staff supervision * Plan review and signing plans * Reporting and timely delivery on final returns QUALIFICATIONS Your Capabilities and Credentials * Valid Driver’s License * Experience with GPS and total station survey equipment * Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills * Solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements * Eager to learn and develop professionally * Self-motivated Education and Experience * Licensed Ontario Land surveyor in good standing with the AOLS * Experience with survey computational and least squares adjustment software (Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD) an asset. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
