Every day throughout Ontario, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is working to enhance public safety where people live, work and play. Supervise inspection activities within the Boilers and Pressure Vessels program to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Coordinate resource allocation, provide technical guidance to stakeholders, and support public safety initiatives through risk-informed oversight.

Conduct inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, and piping systems to ensure compliance with the Technical Standards and Safety Act. Investigate equipment failures and exercise regulatory authority to correct non-compliance or cease operations when necessary.
