RAC Services is part of the Arcticom Group (TAG), a North America based network of mechanical companies that provide HVACR, Plumbing, Electrical and Controls services. This is an exciting time to join our team at a high-growing stage. We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team. The HVAC Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of HVAC and refrigeration systems while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. This is a Hybrid position and will consist of a mix of field and office work. Leadership & Supervision Lead, mentor, and supervise technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors. Plan and coordinate daily work activities. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback. Promote a strong safety culture. Project Coordination Review project drawings and specifications. Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment. Ensure projects meet timelines and budgets. Installation & Technical Oversight Repairs to HVAC and Refrigeration systems Oversee installation, startup, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Assist with troubleshooting and technical problem resolution. Safety & Compliance Conduct site inspections and hazard assessments. Enforce PPE and safe work practices. Ensure compliance with Manitoba safety requirements. Qualifications Journeyperson HVAC/Refrigeration certification preferred. Red Seal certification is an asset. Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Certifications & Requirements Valid Manitoba Driver License. WHMIS certification. First Aid/CPR certification is an asset. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Key Performance Indicators Safety performance and compliance. Project completion on schedule. Customer satisfaction. Quality of workmanship.
