JOB DESCRIPTION : Our client is seeking a Business Development Director who is passionate about driving business growth and building long-term client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic accounts, and managing the entire sales cycle. You will act as a trusted business partner to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that align with their specific project objectives. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and participation in industry events; Identify clients’ needs and propose tailored solutions aligned with their project objectives; Develop, maintain, and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts; Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within client organizations; Prepare, coordinate, and present proposals, quotations, and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs); Negotiate commercial agreements and close sales; Collaborate closely with the design, estimating, engineering, production, and project management teams; Follow up on ongoing projects to ensure client satisfaction and project success; Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts; Conduct regular follow-ups and act as the primary point of contact for clients; Participate in trade shows, networking events, and business development activities; Keep opportunity and account information up to date in the CRM; Prepare sales forecasts and contribute to the company’s growth strategies; Provide high-quality after-sales service and foster long-term customer loyalty. Profil QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management; Proven experience selling customized products, services, or solutions; Knowledge of the retail, signage, commercial furniture, restaurant, or hospitality industries is a strong asset; Strong track record in prospecting and developing new business opportunities; Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills; Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships; Experience using a CRM, ideally HubSpot; Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken; Excellent communication and customer service skills; Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to effectively manage priorities; Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on results and business development; Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment.
