Job Description Mission of the Role In collaboration with the Sales Manager, the Travel Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional travel planning services, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the achievement of sales and revenue objectives. The person in this role helps clients create memorable travel experiences while delivering personalized advice and solutions. Here are the activities that will fill your day: Meet established monthly and yearly sales and revenue targets. Advising clients on travel options offered by our various partners. Network and promote new travel business and grow your repeat client base. Quickly determine specific client needs and source solutions using all tools available. Sell travel packages in all product categories including the preparation of complex itineraries using various booking platforms (Apollo; Sirev). Be alert to changing trends; customer needs and be able to adapt the services to the client’s needs even when difficult circumstances arise. Qualifications What You Will Be Doing Minimum of 2 years sales experience within a retail environment; Travel Industry Experience preferred. MUST hold a valid TICO certificate in Ontario and OPC certificate in Quebec. Are outgoing and energetic in nature with expert networking and social media skills. Advanced communication skills combined with the ability to influence through effective sales and prospecting techniques. Organized to manage our clients travel needs pre-travel, in destination and post travel. Tech savvy and able to learn new software quickly. Demonstrated flexibility in work schedule, available to work outside of normal business hours to attend trade shows, and business events or to complete any agreed upon task. Additional Information Artificial intelligence tools are used to analyze applications, whether to sort or preselect profiles based on criteria related to job requirements.
