As a representative of Trico communities, the Mobile Patrol Security Guard is expected to consistently demonstrate the organization’s core values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Community and Opportunity, while contributing to a positive team culture and providing exceptional service to residents and tenants. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure all of Trico Communities Policy’s and Procedures are adhered to. * Provide responsive, professional customer service to all tenants of the property in a timely manner * Ensuring security duties are carried out in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws including The Criminal Code of Canada; Trespass to Property legislation * Responding to all dispatch calls for Alarms, Building checks and Guard Service needs * Travel will be required to to multiple sites * Attending all designated patrols and doing full site patrols * Driving company vehicles safely and obeying traffic laws * Acting in a guard capacity as requested * Completely detailed and accurate shift reports * Other duties as required. Qualifications: * A valid Alberta Security Licence required prior to employment * An up to date Driver's Abstract * A recognized and current First Aid and CPR certificate prior to employment * Minimum of (2) years in a security industry * Must be certified in Handcuff Training * Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Experience managing challenging security situations * Meticulous record keeping, report writing, verbal and observational skills * Exceptional judgement, common sense and decision making ability * Be able to work independently, reacting appropriately in any situation by remaining calm and professional * Ability to operate security equipment/systems, camera recording systems, computers and radios * Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
