About the Company We are seeking a Senior AI Agentic Developer to rapidly deliver a functional AI Agent-based prototype that automates certain workflows. The prototype should have human-in-the-loop controls, guardrails, and be developed with engineering standards that make further development straightforward. The code should be fully covered by automated testing. About the Role The Senior AI Agentic Developer will be responsible for creating a prototype that automates workflows while ensuring high standards of engineering and testing. Responsibilities Deliver a functional AI Agent-based prototype. Implement human-in-the-loop controls and guardrails. Ensure the code is fully covered by automated testing. Qualifications Post-secondary education in STEM. Work with minimal supervision, self-starter. Enthusiastic/driven with a desire to learn. Strong written/verbal communication. Required Skills AI & Agentic Systems Deep Python and AI tooling (PyTorch, LangChain/LangGraph, llama‑index) with proven agentic/RAG delivery. Agentic (multi‑step/tool use/human-in the-loop) and RAG systems (chunking, embeddings, vector stores, routing, grounding & eval). AWS Expertise Can develop applications with AWS Serverless including, Compute (e.g., lambda, Fargate), Network (e.g., VPC essentials), Security (e.g., IAM), Storage (e.g., S3), IaC (e.g., AWS CDK), Observability (e.g., CloudWatch), and AI Services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, AgentCore). Software Engineering Automated testing at multiple levels (unit/integration/contract/e2e) with high coverage on critical paths. CI/CD (Git‑based workflows), code quality gates. Collaboration & Delivery Operate independently; run weekly demos; incorporate feedback quickly; write clear documentation. Preferred Skills Certification: Preferred: AWS ML Specialty, Solutions Architect – Professional, Security – Specialty. Nice‑to‑have: Developer – Associate, DevOps Engineer – Professional, Data Engineer – Associate.

Requirements

Requires post-secondary education in a STEM field, strong Python and AI tooling experience, and demonstrated delivery of agentic and RAG systems. Candidates should be self-directed, communicate effectively, and be able to build and test applications using AWS serverless services; AWS certifications are preferred or considered an asset.
