RESPONSABILITÉS * Construire, assembler, modifier et réparer des palettes, caisses et structures d’emballage en bois selon les besoins d’expédition * Mesurer, couper et assembler les matériaux afin de fabriquer des solutions d’emballage personnalisées * Utiliser de façon sécuritaire les outils manuels et électriques nécessaires à la fabrication de palettes et de caisses * Recevoir les marchandises, inspecter leur état et vérifier leur conformité avec les bons de commande et les factures * Préparer, emballer et expédier les commandes selon les demandes * Maintenir des registres d’inventaire précis dans les systèmes informatisés (ERP ou autres) * Fournir des informations sur les niveaux d’inventaire, les transferts et les échéanciers de livraison * Assurer la circulation adéquate des matières entre les départements * Compléter la documentation requise (réception, transfert, expédition) * Participer aux processus de contrôle d’inventaire (comptages cycliques, vérifications) * Soutenir et former les membres de l’équipe au besoin * Identifier et résoudre les écarts ou problèmes non routiniers Exigences * 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en expédition/réception, en entrepôt, en menuiserie, en ébénisterie ou dans un environnement de fabrication * Expérience dans la fabrication, la réparation ou la modification de palettes, caisses ou autres structures en bois considérée comme un atout important * Capacité à lire un ruban à mesurer et à travailler à partir de dimensions ou de croquis simples * Bonne connaissance des processus d’inventaire et des opérations d’entrepôt * Expérience avec des systèmes ERP ou informatisés * Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et en résolution de problèmes * Capacité à travailler de façon autonome avec supervision minimale * Bonnes compétences en communication et esprit d’équipe * Bilinguisme (français et anglais) considéré comme un atout important Ce que nous offrons Nous offrons un environnement de travail stimulant et dynamique, idéal pour les personnes qui souhaitent évoluer professionnellement, ainsi qu’un programme de rémunération compétitif incluant des avantages sociaux et un régime de retraite financé par l’entreprise. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Shipper/Receiver & Custom Pallet Builder, you will play a key role in managing the flow of materials in and out of the warehouse. In addition to shipping and receiving responsibilities, you will build, modify, and repair custom wooden pallets, crates, and shipping supports to ensure products are properly protected and prepared for shipment. You will ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping goods while maintaining up-to-date inventory records and supporting internal operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, solid hands-on abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES * Build, assemble, modify, and repair custom wooden pallets, crates, and shipping supports * Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials to create custom shipping solutions * Safely operate hand tools and power tools used for pallet and crate construction * Receive incoming goods, inspect for damage, and verify accuracy against purchase orders and invoices * Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order requirements * Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse or ERP systems * Provide information on stock levels, transfers, and delivery schedules * Ensure proper routing and movement of materials between departments * Complete shipping, receiving, and transfer documentation * Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and audits * Assist in training and supporting team members * Investigate and resolve discrepancies or non-routine issues WHAT YOU'LL NEED * 3-5 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, woodworking, carpentry, cabinetmaking, or a manufacturing environment * Experience building, repairing, or modifying pallets, crates, skids, or other wooden shipping structures is strongly preferred * Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work from dimensions or simple sketches * Experience using hand tools and power tools in a woodworking or manufacturing environment * Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures * Experience with ERP or computerized inventory systems * Solid organizational and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset * Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset WHAT WE OFFER We offer a dynamic, fast-paced work environment that supports innovation and professional growth.
