Join One of Canada's Fastest-Growing Heat Pump Companies 1Click Energy Solutions is expanding our Ottawa team and is looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice who wants to build a career in the rapidly growing residential electrification industry. If you're eager to learn, enjoy hands-on work, and want to gain experience installing modern heating and cooling systems, we'd like to hear from you. Working alongside licensed electricians and HVAC professionals, you'll help install electrical components for high-efficiency heat pump systems in residential homes throughout the Ottawa area. What You'll Do Assist with residential heat pump electrical installations. Install breakers, disconnects, wiring, and electrical whips. Assist with electrical panel upgrades and service upgrades. Run conduit, cable, and branch circuits. Install and terminate electrical equipment in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. Troubleshoot electrical issues under the direction of a licensed electrician. Read electrical drawings and installation documents. Complete work safely while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members. Qualifications Registered Electrical Apprentice (309A preferred). Experience in residential electrical work is considered an asset. Experience with HVAC or heat pump installations is an asset but not required. Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. What We Offer Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Overtime opportunities.
