Role Overview We are seeking a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative to support growth within our business. This hybrid role combines customer service, account support, and inside sales responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide responsive service to existing customers while also identifying new sales opportunities and developing relationships across Canada’s healthcare, rehabilitation, and sports-performance markets. Customer and prospect engagement will take place primarily by telephone, email, video conferencing, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable balancing customer inquiries and order support with proactive outbound sales activity. Key Responsibilities Customer Service and Account Support Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries received by telephone, email, and online channels. Provide customers with product information, pricing, availability, and guidance on appropriate medical and recovery solutions. Enter, process, and monitor customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare quotations, sales orders, and other customer documentation. Provide order-status updates, tracking information, estimated delivery timelines, and backorder information. Coordinate with warehouse, operations, purchasing, and shipping teams to help ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Assist customers with returns, exchanges, warranty inquiries, product issues, and other after-sales support requirements. Investigate and help resolve order discrepancies, shipping concerns, invoicing questions, and customer complaints. Maintain accurate customer account information, notes, and communication records within the company’s systems. Build strong relationships with assigned customers and provide consistent follow-up to support customer satisfaction and retention. Inside Sales and Business Development Respond to inbound leads, product inquiries, and quotation requests, converting qualified opportunities into sales. Conduct proactive outbound prospecting through telephone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels. Generate new business within medical, healthcare, rehabilitation, and sports-performance markets. Identify and qualify prospective customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate products and solutions. Build, maintain, and advance a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. Conduct virtual product presentations, demonstrations, and educational meetings across the company’s medical and recovery portfolio. Follow up on quotations, samples, demonstrations, and open opportunities to advance the sales process. Identify cross-selling, upselling, and account-development opportunities within existing customer accounts. Support customer re-engagement initiatives, new product launches, sales campaigns, and promotional programs. Work toward individual and divisional sales, customer-service, and account-development targets. Maintain accurate records of customer activity, sales opportunities, next steps, forecasts, and results within the company’s CRM. Collaborate with field sales representatives, independent representatives, marketing, customer service, and operations to provide a seamless customer experience. Support trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings when required. Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s medical and recovery products, their applications, and the markets they serve. Qualifications Preferably two to four years of experience in customer service, inside sales, account management, or business development. A strong customer-service mindset and a commitment to providing prompt, professional, and solutions-oriented support. Comfortable handling a combination of inbound customer inquiries and proactive outbound sales activity. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence communicating by telephone, email, and video conference. Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, manage follow-up activities, and identify sales opportunities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities. Experience processing orders, preparing quotations, and working with CRM, ERP, or order-management systems is an asset. Comfortable communicating with physiotherapists, clinic owners, healthcare professionals, procurement teams, and other decision-makers. Knowledge of health sciences, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports medicine, or healthcare markets is highly preferred. A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or a related field is an asset. Experience in the medical device, sports, fitness, or recovery-equipment industry is an asset. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Willingness to occasionally attend customer meetings, trade shows, or industry events as required.
