YOUR ROLE As a Chassis Mechanic, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on the GT Group fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing issues identified during inspections and carrying out the necessary repairs. Responsabilities: You will contribute to the truck maintenance team by performing, among others, the following tasks: * Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on chassis and trailers, including inspections, brake work, electrical repairs, tire changes, etc. * Perform diagnostics, preventive repairs, and scheduled repairs. * Test systems and components to isolate faults. * Notify the Shift Supervisor of any additional repairs required. * Operate and move equipment in and out of the maintenance facility for repairs. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. NOTE: This job description is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned by management. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar work environment. * Minimum intermediate-to-advanced level of French. * Known for your problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and ability to work within a diverse and dynamic team. * Well organized with a strong sense of punctuality. * Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. * Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
