Now Hiring: Contract Administrator – Thunder Bay, Ontario 4K Engineers Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join our team for an upcoming infrastructure project in the Thunder Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction contract administration, site inspection, and coordination on municipal or provincial transportation projects. Requirements: (must be met) 2 MTO or Municipality projects with minimum $7.5 million dollar value each Key Responsibilities: Administer and oversee construction contracts in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards Coordinate with the Owner, Contractor, inspectors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Review work progress, quantities, site activities, schedules, and deficiencies Prepare and maintain daily reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, payment documentation, and project records Ensure quality assurance, safety compliance, and contract requirements are being met Assist with change orders, claims, progress payments, and contract closeout documentation Provide leadership and support to site inspection staff Qualifications: Previous experience as a Contract Administrator, Assistant Contract Administrator, or Construction Inspector Experience with MTO, municipal, highway, bridge, paving, drainage, or transportation projects is an asset Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and site procedures Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle Relevant credentials such as C.E.T., P.Eng., RCJI, or related industry certifications are considered an asset Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario Position Type: Full-time / Contract Start Date: Active Now At 4K Engineers, we take pride in delivering reliable contract administration and inspection services across Ontario’s transportation infrastructure sector. What you’ll do

Administer and oversee construction contracts according to project specifications and standards. Coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must have experience with MTO or municipal projects valued at a minimum of $7.5 million. A strong understanding of construction documents and relevant certifications are preferred.
