Position Summary · The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring fleet availability, operational readiness, maintenance effectiveness, and regulatory compliance across the assigned region. · Works closely with Operations, Fleet, EH&S, vendors, and third-party service providers to maximize fleet uptime, reliability, safety, and cost effectiveness. Fleet Availability & Operational Readiness · Coordinate with Operations leadership to ensure sufficient road-ready units are available to meet daily operational requirements. · Monitor fleet utilization, asset condition, and repair status. · Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance planning and repair prioritization. Maintenance & Repair Oversight · Ensure all maintenance and repairs are completed in accordance with company standards and OEM requirements. · Schedule and track preventative maintenance activities. · Work within the fleet team to continue to develop predictive maintenance activity based on real time findings. · Review work orders, repair histories, and vendor recommendations for cost effectiveness. Vendor Management · Manage repair facilities, mobile service providers, and OEM vendors. · Monitor service quality, response times, and repair costs. Safety & Compliance · Ensure compliance with Federal, Provincial, and State transportation regulations. · Coordinate inspections, certifications, audits, and corrective actions. · Liaison with local operations team to find ways to maintain a high level of Fleet compliance. Cost Control & Asset Management · Analyze maintenance trends and identify opportunities to reduce repair and maintenance costs. · Support lifecycle planning and repair-versus-replacement decisions. · Work with all teams finding new ways to increase up-time and reduce total cost of ownership. Required Skills & Knowledge · Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Strong negotiating skills and creative, out-of-box thinking. · Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, and Microsoft Office. · Knowledge of Class 7 & 8 vehicles and transportation operations. Education & Experience · Secondary School Diploma required. · Preference afforded to individuals with C of Q as310T or 310J · 3-5 years of experience in fleet, transportation, maintenance, or logistics supervision. · Supervisory experience preferred. · French bilingualism, trade certifications, and CDL/AZ licensing are assets. · Travel Requirement: 10-15%. 4Refuel welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Candidates must have a Secondary School Diploma and 3-5 years of experience in fleet, transportation, maintenance, or logistics supervision. Preference is given to those with trade certifications such as 310T or 310J and knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle operations.
