Site Superintendent

6ixBuild is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to join our construction team and oversee day-to-day site operations on our commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate daily on-site construction activities Supervise subcontractors, trades, labour, and site operations Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements Monitor project schedules and coordinate the sequencing of trades Conduct daily site inspections and monitor quality of workmanship Identify and resolve site issues to minimize delays Coordinate material, equipment, and manpower requirements Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site Work closely with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, consultants, and subcontractors Provide regular updates on site progress, upcoming work, and potential issues Ensure compliance with Ontario health and safety requirements Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with previous experience as a Site Superintendent or Site Supervisor preferred Strong experience with commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of construction methods and site operations Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings Strong leadership and subcontractor coordination skills Ability to plan ahead, prioritize work, and solve problems on site Good communication and organizational skills Knowledge of Ontario construction safety requirements Valid Ontario driver’s licence We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organized, responsible, and able to take ownership of site operations from planning through execution.
