POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Roll-Off Truck Driver with a valid DZ license and clean Driver's Abstract. This front-line position plays a key role in our daily operations across the Ottawa region, helping deliver, swap, and empty bins safely, efficiently, and professionally. The wage for this position is $30.00/hour. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deliver, swap, and empty roll-off bins at customer sites * Comfortable with operating a pub trailer * Secure all loads in compliance with legal and safety standards * Conduct full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily * Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and operations staff * Represent CFT Recycling with professionalism and respect on every job site * Keep your truck clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times * Use sound judgment to spot and report maintenance issues early * Follow all MTO regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols * Basic truck maintenance (Ex. greasing truck) QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum of 3+ years of Roll-Off driving experience is required. * Valid DZ License for at least 3 years (required) * Clean driver’s abstract and solid safety record * Strong knowledge of MTO compliance, CVOR, load securement, and daily inspections * Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions * Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for vehicle performance * Reliable transportation to our yard (not accessible by public transit) * Able to pass a criminal background check WHY WORK WITH US: * Locally owned and operated – we’re proud of our Ottawa roots * A safety-first culture that puts drivers and team members first * Growth opportunities for long-term career development * Direct, visible impact – your work keeps Ottawa cleaner every day APPLY TODAY: We’re looking for dependable professionals who take pride in their work, have real roll-off experience, and show up ready to take on the road. What you’ll do

The driver is responsible for delivering, swapping, and emptying roll-off bins across the Ottawa region. Key duties include conducting daily vehicle inspections, securing loads, and maintaining professional communication with dispatch.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid DZ license and at least 3 years of roll-off driving experience with a clean driver's abstract. Physical fitness for outdoor work and a clean criminal background check are also required.
