POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Roll-Off Truck Driver with a valid DZ license and clean Driver's Abstract. This front-line position plays a key role in our daily operations across the Ottawa region, helping deliver, swap, and empty bins safely, efficiently, and professionally. The wage for this position is $30.00/hour. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deliver, swap, and empty roll-off bins at customer sites * Comfortable with operating a pub trailer * Secure all loads in compliance with legal and safety standards * Conduct full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily * Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and operations staff * Represent CFT Recycling with professionalism and respect on every job site * Keep your truck clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times * Use sound judgment to spot and report maintenance issues early * Follow all MTO regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols * Basic truck maintenance (Ex. greasing truck) QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum of 3+ years of Roll-Off driving experience is required. * 5+ years experience operating a dump truck and/ or tri-axle truck is required * Valid DZ License for at least 3 years (required) * Clean driver’s abstract and solid safety record * Strong knowledge of MTO compliance, CVOR, load securement, and daily inspections * Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions * Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for vehicle performance * Reliable transportation to our yard (not accessible by public transit) WHY WORK WITH US: * Group benefits plan – includes medical & dental care * Annual boot allowance * Employee Rewards & Recognition Program * Two company-wide employee appreciation events each year * Years of Service Awards * Hiring referral bonuses * Growth opportunities within a sustainability-driven company APPLY TODAY: We’re looking for dependable professionals who take pride in their work, have real roll-off experience, and show up ready to take on the road. What you’ll do

The driver is responsible for delivering, swapping, and emptying roll-off bins across the Ottawa region. Key duties include conducting daily vehicle inspections and ensuring all loads are secured in compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid DZ license for at least 3 years and have over 5 years of experience operating dump or tri-axle trucks. A clean driver's abstract and strong knowledge of MTO and CVOR regulations are required.
